From John 15, we learn that because the Father loves the Son, He gave Him commandments, and because Jesus loves the Father, He kept those commands. Likewise, because Jesus loves us, He gives us commandments , and because we love Jesus, we keep His commandments. When we do this, we experience true JOY! From 1 Timothy 3, we were reminded that Jesus Christ is working through His church and that the behavior of each individual memb er helps or hinders that work. From the example of David and from Sunday’s sermons, in what specific ways are you challenged about your personal obedience to Christ? ___ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Women of the Word is a ministry of Inter-City Baptist Church.
