Time is flying by and our 35th Meredith College Alumnae Reunion Weekend is quickly approaching. We hope
you are planning to attend May 15-17, 2015. The weekend will be full of fun times and good memories! It will
be great to see each of you and relive our Meredith days.
We are especially pleased to announce that Dr. Jo Allen will be hosting a special Saturday night social in her
home ONLY for our class of 1980. This will be a great time to catch up and share stories with fellow classmates
and to visit with those who are unable to attend the Friday night Reunion Party on campus. Attached is the
registration form to be sent directly to Vicki Currin since this is a class function.
In honor of our 35th reunion, our goal for this fiscal year is $35,000 with 35% participation. We can do it! We
need 67 more gifts from our classmates in order to reach our goal. Our challenge is to reach 35% participation
by May 15th because contribution amounts and participation levels will be announced at the Saturday morning
Annual Meeting of the Alumnae Association. Karen will continue to keep us updated on our progress through
emails and another mailing later in March. You may make an online gift to Meredith at
www.meredith.edu/giving. We are counting on you!
You should have already received a separate Reunion Weekend brochure from the Alumnae Office. You must
register with the Alumnae Office to attend any events on campus, including the Friday night Class Party and
staying in the residence halls. Below is a brief schedule of our on campus events:

Reunion Class Party hosted by President Allen – The courtyard & Belk Dining Hall
The party features music from the Band of Oz, heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages
(soft and serious). The class of 1980 will have an after party in our dorm parlor.

Spread the word to your fellow angels, and make plans to return to the angel farm and relive our times by
staying in the dorms! You’ll be surprised at how much fun it is! The Alumnae Office will place our class on
the same hall as well as post a door decoration on each occupied room!
