Paul reminds us that we are always going to face pressure as we
live in this world to turn away from God, live worldly lives, and
give into worldly passions. We need to realise that God is interested in the way we live our daily lives, day to day, hour to
hour, and moment to moment. The gospel, (good news of
Salvation), is more than a theory of how we get saved. It has
implications for daily living, and we are to let our daily
routines, the different roles we occupy and things we do, be
shaped by those implications.
