Brant Lake Milfoil Project: Weekly Summary, week of 7/30

The crew started at Point O Pines and worked North through Sunset Cove to the small island on the
Northeast shore. This swim resulted in only 33 harvested plants all of which were young, new growth.
Resuming from the small island the crew continued North covering the entire North end and finishing in
Big Rock Cove. This swim resulted in 38 harvested plants all small new growth. Resumed the swim from
the island just North of Big Rock Cove finding 16 plants at the Northern tip of the island. Continued
swimming Big Rock and found another 29 plants along the West shore. The crew resumed its progress
south through the chain of small islands across from Point o Pines, down to the channel to the boat
launch then back up the East shore to the bay South of Point o Pines. This entire swim resulted in 25
harvested plants.
Unless otherwise indicated all “plants removed” refers to Eurasian milfoil
