To initiate direct deposit into your Schwab Bank account, follow the instructions below.
1. Contact the employer, federal agency or institution that pays you and inform them that you would like to set up direct deposits into your Schwab Bank
account. Your payer may require you to complete and sign a form. Some employers may allow you to split your pay between multiple accounts for

2. Complete the direct deposit information below and provide it to your payer. You will need to provide the name(s) of the account holder(s), the bank
account number and account type.
3. Your direct deposit will become effective within 4–6 weeks (up to 8 weeks for federal agencies) from the date you request the service. The employer,
federal agency or institution generating the direct deposit will send a confirmation letter notifying you of the date your direct deposit will begin.
