Elevator Traction Machines Package
Imperial Electric 527 direct drive elevator machines are designed to replace AC geared or gearless
machines in 1:1 roped applications. 527 series machines deliver all the advantages of ACPM*,
synchronous technology in a package engineered to provide everything you need to replace an
existing geared or gearless machine in the shortest possible time —

• 4,500 pound capacity, 1:1 roped. 8,000 pound
capacity, 2:1 roped.
• Speeds ranging from 100 to 700 FPM
• V-groove, 25-inch diameter sheave
AC Permanent Magnet machines
• Up to 6 groves for 5/8” rope, up to 7 grooves for
