Julie Monson Receives Winona National Bank Community PRIDE Award

Winona National Bank is pleased to announce Julie Monson, Business Banking Specialist, as the
recipient of its second quarter Community PRIDE Award.
Awarded quarterly by the Bank’s Public Relations Committee, Community PRIDE Awards
recognize WNB employees for exceptional volunteer service to programs, organizations, and
initiatives that contribute to the strength and vitality of the communities served. This includes
volunteering efforts made both during and outside of work hours.
Monson has served the Winona Rivertown Lions Club for 26 years and currently serves as
president, her fourth time in that role. She was honored by the Club in 2015 for slating 25 years
of perfect attendance and has also received the Hellen Keller and Lion of the Year awards.
Monson also transports Home Delivered Meals for Winona Volunteer Services, and she
volunteers for Cathedral Fest and serving communion at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart & St.
Casimir Parish.
As a Community PRIDE Award recipient, Monson received $100 to donate to the non-profit of
her choice, which she chose to donate to Every Child’s Dream. In addition, she received a
certificate of recognition and a Winona National Bank logo shirt.
