Angelina Ballerina™ Dance Academy
Dance Apparel Required: K-I and K-II Classes: must wear pink leotard (no skirts), pink
tights, and pink ballet shoes (K-II also need black tap shoes). Kinder 3 & 4 Classes: must wear
black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. D-I & D-II Classes: may wear
any color leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, black or tan jazz shoes. Hip Hop
Classes: must wear wear stretch capris or pants, t-shirt, a leotard and clean tied gym shoes.
Pre-School K-I is a 45 min ballet class
Pre-School K-II is an hour ballet/tap class

Ballet Corp classes are designed
for the student who wants to
strengthen their education in
classical ballet. Students must be
at least 8 years of age to enroll
and should have had some
ballet training. These classes are
1½ hours long and focus mainly
on ballet barre work.

petite and grand allegro combinations. Tap at this level will build onto the foundation steps moving into
more intricate steps such as time steps.
Dance 1 classes focus on classical ballet steps incorporating turns, leaps and extensions. Tap will continue
to progress into pick ups, wings and more intricate time steps. At this level, the students will be introduced
to jazz. They will learn simple jazz steps along with strengthening exercises. Each dance form is studied in
30 minute increments. (Requires teacher recommendation)
Dance 2 classes offer an hour of classical ballet along with some lyrical movements. Students at this level
are more dedicated to dance and have had several years of training. Tap and jazz will continue to build
on the steps that were taught at the Dance 1 level. (Requires teacher recommendation)

flexibility and isolations and learn many combinations.
Students will also grow in their creativity as improvisation is often used in class. This is a very fun and trendy
way for any dancer to progress in their dance training.
