On May 29, 2011, Officer Kevin Will was interviewing the witness of a motorcycle accident on
the 610 North Loop in Houston, around 2:15 a.m. when the driver of a Volkswagen Beetle
plowed through a police barricade.
Officer Will saw the car heading towards them, yelled at the man he was talking to get out of the
way and pushed him to jump over a short wall; saving the man’s life. Officer Will was hit and died at the scene.
The illegal alien who was under the influence and 3x the legal limit also had cocaine in his
pocket when he struck and killed Officer Kevin Will. The illegal alien had been deported at least
4 times.
It should be noted that the person who caused the accident that Officer Will was investigating
was caused by yet another illegal alien.
After killing Officer Will the illegal was transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Officer Kevin Will, 38 years young left behind a wife who was six months pregnant – and two
other children, ages 6 and 10. Kevin Will left the banking industry to become a police officer.
He was with the Houston Police Dept. for 20 months.
Let me read what Sgt. Joslyn Johnson had to say after learning about Officer Wills death. Sgt
Johson’s husband, Officer Rodney Johnson, was murdered by an illegal alien in 2006:
“It kind of brings back all the emotions that I have when this happened with my husband,”
Johnson said. “Yes, there is a level of anger I feel. I just hate that this keeps occurring and our
police officers keep getting killed by illegal aliens.”
Ray Hunt with the Houston Police Officer’s Union said this incident is adding fire to the
immigration debate.
“Once again, this peels that scab off one more time on the problem we have in Houston, Texas
with the illegal immigrants,” he said.
Thank you.
