Eco - Detectives Camp
is a strictly outdoor summer camp.
Campers need to be prepared to be outdoors most of the
day. Light weight and light colored clothing is
recommended. Closed heel and closed toe shoes are
required! Bring along an extra change of clothes on days
we will get wet.
It is imperative that the campers bring a non-perishable
lunch daily.
Please drop off and pick up campers at the south picnic
shelter at the cul-de-sac. It is required that a parent or

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Manatee Park Eco-Detective Summer Camp! We are excited
about the variety of outdoor educational programs offered this year. Manatee
camp schedule is from 8:00 - 4:30 daily. Parents / Guardians must sign children in and out each day. Please be prepared to show your ID when picking up
your camper. No camper will be released to anyone who is not authorized to
do so.
Below are suggestions to remember when preparing for camp each morning:
Most camp activities will be outside. If inclement weather affects
planned outdoor activities, the camp will move to an inside location.
Apply sunscreen at home before coming to camp and bring sunscreen
along to reapply throughout the day. Wearing a hat will also protect
your child’s head and face.
Camp activities are outside so plan to get dirty.
Campers need to be dropped off at 8:00 am and picked up at 4:30 pm.
We welcome parent involvement. All parents are welcome to attend
any of our camp activities! We look forward to an exciting fun
filled Summer Camp.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me @ 690-5030.
