President’s Corner
Upcoming Club Activities
Greetings once again to everyone. I hope the
heat this summer hasn’t taken too much of a toll on
you. It has been one of the hottest summers I can
remember, but this hasn’t stopped the Memory Lane
Cruisers from attending car shows and show ‘n
shines. The members are to be commended for this.
Speaking of car shows, our Autumn Run
Classic Car Show was a great success with over 100
registered cars. Thanks to all of those who worked
so hard to make it another MLC successful event.
I urge everyone who can to attend the MLC
meeting on the 18th of October. We will be making
nominations for 2012 officers. The club really needs
your voice and opinions. If you would like to
become an officer, please step up and be at the
meeting. Everyone is always welcome. Also we will
be discussing the Christmas party menu, etc.
It’s about time for parades to begin since the
weather will soon be cooling off. I hope we can
participate in as many of them as we can. People
really enjoy seeing the wide variety of cars that we as
a club can furnish for the parades. If you have never
run in a parade, you don’t know what you have
missed!
We have had several new members join
recently and need to get them more involved in club
functions. Once they see how much fun we have,
they will join right in with the rest of us and
participate as much as they can. Let’s all make them
feel welcome and let them know they are an
important part of the club.
Don’t forget to get your $5.00 per person
made out to Memory Lane Cruisers to Gaby Jerles if
you plan to attend the Christmas Party at the Pinnacle
on Saturday, December 10th. This will let us know
how many people to plan our menu for. We will
have lots of food, music by Robin Cook, and fun
with Dirty Santa.
Saturday, October 15th: Show N Shine,
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Dept. wants up to
10 cars in front of Civic Hall, Veteran’s Plaza,
Pageant Lane; 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for
Community Awareness Event.

NEW 2012 Cruise-In Location ??
A proposal is being reviewed for consideration to
move our Saturday cruise-in location to one of two
sites in St Bethlehem. Each site will provide higher
visibility for the club, more eatery options and
more sites for the ladies to shop.
This move is just being considered for now so join
us at the upcoming meetings and let your voice be
heard.

all did great. Many thanks to all the club
members who helped make this the great
success it was. The participation in these
activities make this the great club we are and
want to be. Thanks to all of you again.
