SUNDAY French Toas t, Scrambled Eggs, Ham, Fruit, B everages Welcome to the 37th annual Land of the Loon Ethnic Arts & Crafts Festival! This two-day event, held the third full weekend in June, celebrates the culture and customs of the diverse people who settled in Northeastern Minnesota. Festivities begin with a 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning parade in downtown Virginia. Then the activities shift north to beautiful Olcott Park where you can sample delicious ethnic foods, listen to colorful music from countries around the world, browse the hundreds of art and craft booths, and celebrate the weekend-long family entertainment hosted by Iron Range volunteers. Check out the variety of Land of the Loon Festival Souvenirs including tye-dyed t-shirts, denim shirts, shot glasses, temporary tattoos, sweatshirts, hats, key chains, postcards, beach towels, pins, etc. that are available for purchase at our Souvenir Booth, located near booth 1S in the southeast corner of the park. They make great gifts! And one more thing … no pets allowed due to city ordinance. This Festival would not be possible without the help of our very dedicated volunteers and YOU! The festival plays an important part in promoting our community and provides added benefits to the City of Virginia and surrounding communities. We hope you enjoy this year’s Festival! 139N 140N 141N 142N Coordinators: Luke and Brittany Chopp 143N 144N 145N 146N 147N 148N 149N 150N 151N 152N 153N 154N 155N 156N 157N W 158 W 159 W 160 W 161 2W 16 3W 16 4W 16 5W 16 66W 1 67W 1 June 15 16 & 16, 17, 2012 June 2013 W 181 W 182 W 8 1 3 W 184 219N 220N 221N 222N 223N 224N 225N 226N 227N 228N 229N 230N 231N 232N 270N 271N 272N 267N 268N 269N 266N 214N 215N 216N 217N 218N 210N 211N 212N 213N 257N 258N 259N 260N 261N 262N 263N 264N 265N 206N 207N 208N 209N 253N 254N 255N 256N 248N 249N 250N 251N 252N 202N 203N 204N 205N 242N 243N 244N 245N 246N 247N 237N 238N 239N 240N 241N 194N 195N 196N 197N 198N 233N 234N 235N 236N 10 10 6W 10 5W 10 4W 3W F23 F25 28 28 4E 28 5E 28 6E 28 7E 28 8E 29 9E 29 0E 29 1E 29 2E 29 3E 29 4E 5E 29 6E 29 7E 29 2 8E 30 99E 0E F19 F17 F20 13S 12S 16S 15S 14S 9S 8S 7S 6S 5S 4S 3S 2S 1S F18 22S 21S 20S 19S 18S 17S F16 26S 25S 24S 23S F6 F5 F4 F3 F2 30S 29S 28S 27S F9 F8 33S 32S 31S 36S 35S 34S 39S 38S 37S 53S 52S 51S 50S 49S 48S 47S 46S 45S 44S 43S 42S 41S 40S F11 F10 F12 F13 F14 F15 58W 57W 56W 55W 54W F21 83W 82W 81W 80W 60W 59W F22 278E 279E 280E 281E 282E 283E F26 W 73 2W 7 1W 7 87W 86W 85W 84W F22.5 27 27 3E 27 4E 5 27 E 27 6E 7E W 70 W 69 W 68 W 67 W 66 W 65 W 64 W 63 W 89 W 88 62W 61W 78W 77W 76W 75W 74W 2W 10 1W 10 0W 10 9W 9 W 98 W 97 W 96 W 95 W 94 93W 92W 91W 90W 79W 199N 200N 201N F24 19 0 19 W 1 19 W 2W 19 3W 1 1 11W 1 10W 10 09W 10 8W 7W 5W 18 6W 18 7W 18 8W 18 9W 18 F1 11S 10S 5W 11 W 4 11 W 3 11 W 2 11 06/2012 134N 135N 136N 137N 138N F30 F29 9W 12 8W 12 8 F2 12 12 7W 12 6W 12 5W 12 4W 12 3W 12 2W 12 1W 0W 168 W 169 W 170 W 171 W 119W 172 W 118W 173 W 117W 116W 174W 175W 176W F27 177W 178W 179W 180W 130N 131N 132N 133N We hope this informational flyer helps you in finding just what you’re looking for!
