Marguerite Aquatics Complex Renovation Monthly Report MARGUERITE AQUATICS COMPLEX MONTHLY REPORT February/March 2017 Page 1 of 7 Marguerite Aquatics Complex Renovation Monthly Report PROJECT SUMMARY Construct One Corp was able to finally drill the 12 caissons for the dive tower. The caissons are 18” in Diameter and are 30 feet deep in the ground. A 48” concrete pile cap was poured over the 12 caissons on Saturday 3- 4-17 Construct One Corp discovered that the piping underneath the pool shells in the 50 meter pool are undersized and inconsistent with the anticipated mechanical design. The City revised the approved Health Department Plans, resubmitted them and they have been re-approved by the Health Department. This piping change will require the concrete pool shell to be cut and the actual piping upsized to meet the code. City is waiting for a revised estimate for this increase effort from Construct One Corp. The Contractor stood the first 23 feet of the Dive Tower wood forms. The forming shown in the images is the back wall and the 2 side walls. The forming details shown are placed on the inside of the form and then once approved will be enclosed and concrete will be placed inside the forms. California Commercial Pools is continuing to place the extensive conduits and plumbing runs to the 50 meter pool and the Activity pool in preparation for the new utility runs to each of the 3 pools. The City is in the process of getting the delayed submittals through the City Building Department for the Shade Structures, Bleachers and the Musco activity lighting prior to the contractor installation. The City/Contractor isolated the water source between the Aquatics Facility and the Tennis Pavilion. Previously the centers were serviced from the same water meter. The project to date has experienced the following calendar day delays: Rain Days Hazardous Mitigation Days Total Days for Delay 30 days 30 days 60 days Page 2 of 7 Marguerite Aquatics Complex Renovation Monthly Report BUDGET UPDATE Total Estimated Construction Budget (Budget Amendment #1 1-10-17) Energy Efficiency Additions $10,218,051 Total Budget $10,433,221.40 $215,170.40 Expenses Aquatics Design Group Change Order #2 Griffin Structures (PM) Change Order #1 Petra Geotechnical GMU (Soils) RJM Design Group LSA Associates Permits and Plan Check SMWD OC Health Plan Check and Insp.
