OUR company
MHA Worldwide Tours, LLC was founded on the
principle that international deluxe group travel should be
accessible and personal. Whether uncovering unknown
stories of your family’s past, paying homage to those who
fought and died for our freedom, or simply exploring the
food, customs and nuances of another culture, a travel
experience to a country other than one’s own should be
memorable, impactful and rewarding.
We are not in the vacation business. We cater to
travelers with inquisitive minds and open hearts, who
understand what Mark Twain once said – that travel “is
fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness.”
Although we are a new company, we have more than two
decades of experience providing educational and cultural
tours around the world. And we hope you will join us for
the trip of a lifetime.
Explore the past. Discover your future.

The Battle of the Bulge and the
Crossing of the Rhine Tour
April 2017
Day 3 – Malmedy to Luxembourg
We say goodbye to Spa and continue on our tour of the
Northern Shoulder with visits to St. Vith, Trois Ponts,
Stavelot and Malmedy, where 84 American POWs were
murdered by the Nazis. We finish the tour today at the La
Gleize Church outside the town of Stoumont, where the
church’s Madonna was saved by one of the American
“Monuments Men.” We then make our way south to
Lippersheid, Luxembourg and the spectacular Sporthotel
Leweck Resort, our home for the next three nights. (B,D)

The Battle of the Bulge and
the Crossing of the Rhine tour
Join the World War II History Club of The Villages and
MHA Tours on this incredible tour of Belgium,
Luxembourg and Germany and the areas made famous in
the “Battle of the Bulge.” Enjoy deluxe accommodations
and service while learning about the largest battle ever
fought by the US Army, and the decisive moment in
determining the outcome of the Second World War on
the Western Front.
Day 1 – HURTGEN FOREST,
HENRI-CHAPELLE CEMETERY and spa
After arriving at Dusseldorf Airport, we begin our
journey with a group lunch in Aachen, the first city in
Germany to be liberated by the Allies. Continue on a
tour of the Hurtgen Forest area of Germany, followed by
a visit to the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in
Belgium. Arrive this evening in historic resort city of
Spa, Belgium and enjoy a welcome dinner and lecture by
our featured tour historian. (L,D)
Day 2 – The Northern Shoulder
Today we will visit the areas that became known as the
“Northern Shoulder,” where American units suddenly
found themselves on the receiving end of a massive
German offensive. Learn about the heroic small unit
actions at places like Hollerath and the Elsenborn Ridge
that staved off a complete collapse of the Allied front,
and allowed reinforcements to be brought into the
battle. The group will have lunch near one of the
fiercest armored engagements. (B,L)
Day 4 – Bastogne
Today we visit Bastogne, where the 101st Airborne
Division famously held off a German armored force for
more than a week while being entirely surrounded and
outnumber 5-to-1, until Patton’s 3rd Army arrived in
relief. Tour the foxholes of the venerable “Easy
Company” of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment in
the Bois Jacques, and learn more about the siege at the
Bastogne War Museum, and the Bastogne Barracks.
Enjoy a group dinner in Bastogne before returning to our
hotel. (B,D)
Day 5 – Wiltz, Diekirch & Ettelbruck
Today the tour visits the areas of Luxembourg that, while
not as well known as Bastogne, were nevertheless the site
of fierce engagements. Hear the story of Day Turner,
recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor for his
actions here, from our local expert battlefield guide.
After a group lunch, we will receive a guided tour of
Luxembourg’s National Military History Museum in
Diekirch, as well as Ettelbruck, the small city which was
finally liberated by Patton’s 3rd Army on Christmas Day
1944. (B,L)
Day 6 – luxembourg
We bid farewell to Luxembourg with a tour of the
country’s capital, Luxembourg City, and the Patton
Chapel at Fondation Pescatore, as well as the Place
d’Armes. In the afternoon we visit Luxembourg
American Cemetery, where more than 5,000 American
service members are buried, including Day Turner and
General George Patton, Jr. We continue northeast into
Germany to the beautiful town of Boppard, on the banks
of the majestic Rhine River. (B,D)
Day 7 – The Rhineland
On the final full day of the tour, we begin by making a
brief stop in the town of Urmitz, where Caesar
constructed bridges during the Gallic Wars. We
continue north to the city of Cologne and its iconic
Cathedral, where we will be given a guided tour. From
there we will head back upriver to Bonn, the one-time
capital of West Germany, and enjoy a group lunch at the
Hotel Dreesen, reputed to be one of Hitler’s favorites.
We continue to Remagen, one-time site of the famous
bridge that allowed American forces to cross the mighty
river and enter Germany en masse. We say farewell to
our tour with a sunset dinner cruise along the Rhine to
Boppard. B,L,D)
Day 8 – Departures to the USA
The group will transfer to Frankfurt International
Airport for return flights to the USA. (B)
