Are you finished grade 9 or older? Looking for something to do this summer???
Interested in knowing more about God and his plan for your life??
What is the Timothy 1 Program?
1 Timothy 4:12 – Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young but set an example for believers in
speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
Timothy 1 is a 21 day leadership program. There will be 2 sessions during the summer, each 3 weeks
long.
- Session 1 begins Sunday July 3, 2011 and ends Saturday July 23, 2011.
- Session 2 begins Sunday July 31, 2011 and ends Saturday August 20, 2011.
- The cost for this program is $300 (to be paid to the ‘The Salvation Army’ via cheque or credit
card, once you have been accepted).
The goal is to be transformed and ready to serve through discovering your identity in Christ, in self and
in others.
• Week 1 – is at Jacksons Point Camp, with many opportunities to grow personally and in your
relationship with Jesus. You will also have some time in the various programs, to understand how
they work, and what they do.
• Week 2 – will be at Newport Adventure Camp, in beautiful Muskoka where you will experience
NAC’s different programs and venture out on a 3 day team building canoe trip.
• Week 3 – Back at Jacksons Point Camp, where we will continue in our journey of knowing Christ,
self and others. In this week you will have more opportunities to learn about the specific
programs, so that you can be equipped to decide about which stream you would like to apply for,
the following summer in Timothy II.
