Lend Lease subcontract the vast majority of trades and labour recruitment to third party suppliers, so we do not have visibility of the
majority of these roles. You can find more information at the specific project offices.
How do I find out about and apply to open vacancies?
We advertise all our current vacancies via our website. Please visit http://jobopportunities.lendlease.com.au where you can search
for and apply to our open vacancies. If you have specific questions regarding an advertised role, you can contact the recruiter listed
in the advert directly.
The first time you apply for a role you will be asked to register your details and create a user profile that includes creating a
username and password. Please keep these details handy – you’ll need them the next time you login to your account.
Protecting your privacy is important to us so, to ensure your personal details are stored securely, we only accept applications
submitted through our careers website.
How can I find out the status of my application?
You can log into your account via our website http://jobopportunities.lendlease.com.au at any time to check the status of your
application.
To acknowledge your application you will be sent a system generated email to confirm receipt. The Resourcing Team will be in
touch via phone or email to confirm the outcome of your application within 2 weeks.
I have forgotten my online applicant password. How do I reset my password?
1. From the Careers homepage, http://jobopportunities.lendlease.com.au, select ‘I forgot my password’
2. Type in your username (which is your email address) and select ‘submit’
3. A temporary password will be emailed to your email address. Once you receive this email, use the temporary password
supplied to login to your profile, where you will then be prompted to enter a new password of your choosing.

What happens after I apply?
Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt.
Your application will be assessed by the recruitment consultant looking after the role. If unsuccessful, you will be notified via email
of the outcome of your application.
If the recruitment consultant wishes to progress your application, you will be contacted via phone and invited to participate in an
initial phone interview.
If your application progresses past this point of the process, you will be asked to come in for a face-to-face interview.

What should I expect in my interview?
We use a targeted selection interview technique, also known as behavioural interviewing. You'll be asked questions designed to
show previous patterns of accomplishments relevant to the role we are recruiting. Interviews may be conducted over the phone or
in person.
Will the recruitment process involve any additional testing and/or checks?
Dependent on the role, the responsibilities and, in some cases, the state legislation, during our recruitment process you may be
asked to complete additional checks. You will be informed during the recruitment process if this applies and may include;
Recruitment Pre-selection Testing
Certain roles require minimum skills sets, and therefore, testing of an incumbent’s skills may be utilised during the
recruitment process. Tests can be outsourced to third party suppliers.
Background Checks
Dependant on the role and responsibilities different background checks may be used. For example but limited to, fraud
and bankruptcy checks.
Medical Checks and Drug & Alcohol Screening
Where the role requires, medical checks and drug and alcohol screening will be undertaken. The results must be
satisfactory prior to an offer being made. This is in accordance with Lend Lease’s Drug and Alcohol Policy. An employee
who commences work prior to the Medical Check will be employed conditionally, and their employment may be terminated
if the results are unsatisfactory.
Psychometric Assessments
Psychometric assessments may be carried out as part of the selection process for key roles.
Reference Checks
Prior to an offer every role will have checks completed with permission from the candidate.
Police Checks
Where relevant to the role requirements and/or state or federal legislation we may require the successful candidate to
complete a police check. An employee who commences work prior to the Police Check results being available will be
employed conditionally, and their employment may be terminated if the results are unsatisfactory.
All assessments, checks and testing is filed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
