2. Number of staff allowed to telecommute for
a) all of their working hours - None
b) part of their working hours - 519 members of staff have the ability to
telecommute (remote working) occasionally.
Remote working can apply to all staff that access work computer systems and
settings from a location other than their office either as part of their contract or
on an ad hoc basis. The option to work remotely is not an automatic
entitlement as for some roles individuals will be unable to work remotely or
from home due to the nature of the job.
We are committed to supporting employees to achieve a balance between
their work and personal lives. The ability to work remotely allows greater
flexibility to meet the needs of the Service and employees. All requests are
considered to ensure suitability and that they meet business needs.
