Myositis is an inflammatory disease of the skeletal muscle which may be hereditary or caused by
infection, autoimmunity or toxins. The detection of Myositis associated antibodies is essential in the
diagnosis of Dermatomyositis / Polymyositis in monitoring the course of disease & therapy
management.
