Students will be able to identify name and amount of a penny, nickel, dime and quarter
Students will be able to speak about the differences between penny, nickel, dime and quarter

Start off with the poem and then going into a review on penny, nickel, and dime and lastly introduce the
quarter
Break off into our color groups and go to learning centers

 Table 4: Santa’s Workshop
At the Investigation Station, the teacher there will be giving the students a simple rubric to grasp where the
children are at understanding quarters and well as pennies, nickels and dimes.
At the It’s Money Time table, students will be given a worksheet based on their readiness level and this is
our other form of assessment.
