SOLVING QUADRATIC EQUATIONS BY FINDING SQUARE ROOTS
Last section, we solved equations that were factorable, which produced "nice" integer or fraction answers. Now, we'll examine
equations that may not turn out as "nice."
GOAL: GET EQUATIONS IN THE FORM BEFORE WE BEGIN:
What are the possible answers to: Whenever you take the square root, which results in 2 answers, you must use the ± symbol!
EXAMPLES:
(a)
(b)
(c)
(d)
