Sign up by phone begins in March • In addition, Comcast will provide on-site signup with product demo at Colonial in early April. • Installations will begin April 1 based on order in which signups are received. • Teams of technicians will come to your home to replace equipment, perform a “home health check” to make sure everything works properly. • Colonial members will have 12 months to complete transition without incurring an installation fee. • Members have an option to make the transition early. Installation fee of $60 will be charged for changes made prior to April 1. When calling Comcast don’t reference the April package as they will be confused, simply ask for a X1 installation and make your selections. HOW BILLING WILL CHANGE Retail Billing • X1 and Blast services and equipment currently part of the Comcast retail bill will now become “standard” with the new Bulk package. • Current retail charges for X1, Blast, Digital Preferred channels, and equipment will be eliminated beginning April 1. • Members should continue to pay their retail bill until adjustments catch up; 2-3 months. • Effective in the May retail bills members will see the new pricing from the contract, and their choices for Equipment, Features and Services. • Under the new plan unless you purchase additional equipment, faster Internet, Comcast Voice or premium programming your new retail bill should be $0.
