Russian Civil war is a multi-player
game with optional solitaire rules, but
this article uses the multi-player rules.
Up to six can play, and this article
reports on such a match-up. I have
changed the actual names of the players to correspond with Russian names
beginning with the letters “A” through
“F.” 1layer A is referred to as Aleksei,
player B is Boris, player C is Georgi, D is
Dmitri, E is Egor and player F is Fyodor.
Opening Trades
Egor trades White leader Rodzyanko
to Aleksei for Red leader Rykov.
Aleksei trades Smirnov, Sytin and
Slavin to Georgi for Wrangel.
Player order begins with Aleksei. (A
die was rolled and each player was
assigned 1-6. Aleksei was assigned “1”

and a one was rolled on the d6. Play
will continue in a clockwise fashion)

the demoralization of intervention
forces by means of propaganda
campaigns. It is generally safer than
regular combat for the attacker as
the attacker cannot take losses.
The attack is at 6-1 and is successful. The Central Powers unit is
eliminated as a combat force.
