Plymouth. Reception followed

Perminas are pleased to announce
the birth of their daughter Peyton
Isabella Perminas on March 14,
2006 at Tripler Army Medical
Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. She
weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces at
birth. The Perminas are stationed
at Schofield Barracks, Oahu.
Peyton is the first grandchild of
Doug and Jill Bridson of South
Lyon and the first granddaughter
of Joseph and Sheryl Perminas of
Antioch, Ill. Proud great-grandparents are George and Dolores
Bridson of South Lyon.

Age 81 of South Lyon passed away
May 5, 2006. Funeral Service held
Tuesday at Cross of Christ Lutheran
Church. She was laid to rest at
South Lyon Cemetery. Arrangements

WILLIAM JAMES
FARQUHAR
Age 79 of Brighton passed away
Friday afternoon, May 5, 2006 at the
Apple Blossom Hill Adult Foster Care
Home in Hartland. He was born on
March 17, 1927, the son of Lamond
and Elizabeth Farquhar. On October
29, 1948 he was married to Ruth J.
Walter in Detroit, moving to Brighton
in 1969. Mrs. Farquhar preceded him
in death on July 11, 2003. A veteran
of WWII, Mr. Farquhar served with
the U.S. Navy. Prior to entering the
Navy he had been a member of the
National Guard. Prior to his retirement, he had owned and operated
Farquhar and Associates and prior to
that he was employed as a Public
Adjuster for Midwest Fire Adjusters.
Bill was a member of the Brighton
Lodge 247 F&AM and the American
Legion in Brighton and prior to moving to Brighton was involved in the
Masonic Lodge in Detroit. Surviving
are 4 children; Judy (Jim) Aittama of
South Lyon, Jane (Dave) Reed of
Brighton, William L. (Lisa) Farquhar
of Brighton and Ted (Sheila) Farquhar
of South Lyon. 11 grandchildren, 5
great grandchildren and his son in
law Stuart Martin of Pinckney also
survive. He was preceded in death by
a daughter Jill Martin and by his sister Betty Adkins. Funeral Services
were held Wednesday May 10, 2006
from the First Presbyterian Church of
Brighton. Interment followed at
Fairview
Cemetery,
Brighton.
Memorial Contributions in Mr.
Farquahar's name are suggested to
St. Joseph Mercy Livingston
Hospice, The First Presbyterian
Church of Brighton, The Women's

Cancer Society or to the Livingston

J. CRAIG COLLICOTT
GLADYS ILEEN LANZA
Went to the Lord on April 30, 2006
after a valiant fight against
Parkinson’s Disease and Cancer.
Born March 5, 1941, Craig was the
son of Dr. James W. and Allyn
Collicott, of Jackson, Michigan. He
is survived by his beloved wife of 33
years, Susan (Chapman). Proud
father of Christian, Sean and Robert.
Pop to his fabulous granddaughters
Talitha and Nicolette. He is also survived by his sisters Barbara
Chapman and Marsha Hammett.
Craig proudly served in the U.S.
Marines from 1959-1967. He was
one of the first men admitted to the
then Siena Heights College in Adrian,
MI and did graduate work at The
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
A professional actor for over 30
years, Craig directed and appeared
in many plays in the area with
groups including the Croswell Opera
House, Adrian, Ann Arbor Civic
Theatre and the Theatre Guild of
Livonia-Redford. Professionally, he
worked with Meadowbrook Theatre
and the then fledgling Attic Theatre
and the Edison Institute at The
Henry Ford. He was also the star of
the cult film "Northville Cemetery
Massacre". In the 1980’s Craig was
one of the top five working actors in
the city of Detroit and sat on the
Detroit Board of Screen Actors guild.
Craig was preceded in death by his
parents and sister Mary Karen. A
memorial celebration was held at St.
Christopher/St Paul Episcopal
Church, 20750 McNichols in Detroit,
48219 on Saturday May 6, 2006. In
lieu of flowers, the family requests
memorial contributions be made to
the Actor’s Fund of America, 729 7th
Avenue, New York, New York 10019.

Age 72, passed away May 2, 2006.
She was born on December 2, 1933,
in Parsons, Kansas, to the late Arthur
and Mabel (Tallman) Woodmansee.
On Nov. 28, 1952, she married
Anthony Lanza. Gladys is survived
by her husband Anthony of South
Lyon, 4 children: Karen (Richard)
Gouin of South Lyon, Dominic
(Kathy) Lanza of Brighton, Annette
(Robert) Wallace of South Lyon, Paul
(Julie) Lanza of Whitmore Lake, 1
sister Dortha Mae Simms, 7 grandchildren: Jason, Brandon, Aaron,
Holly, Ashleigh, Kirsten, Connor, 2
great-grandchildren: Jasmine and
Mia. A Funeral Mass was held on
Friday, May 5, at St. Joseph Catholic
Church. Memorial Contributions
may be made to Livingston County
Hospice or St. Joseph Catholic
