The month of September has
come and gone, and so far the
Cheetah House is looking
good! We have selected a
winning house motto and logo,
which will now be featured on
all future editions of the
CHEETAH CHATTER. Thanks
to all the students who
submitted such incredible
designs and ideas! As we roll
into October, lets keep up the
good work! This month’s
theme is Student
Empowerment and
Involvement. Become a part
of Student Council, help our
house win Principal Points,
and get recognized for doing
something great! We’ve got
some tough competition out
there, but let’s show Shull
School how the Cheetah’s can
make it to the top!

CUB’S CORNER
This month’s article was written by our very own 6th
grader, Arantxa Thompson. Check out what she has to
say about MyOn Reading…
Ever since Mrs. Blockus showed my class MyOn Reading, I have been hooked!
I go on MyOn daily, and so far I have read 6 - 8 books! When I first logged on
this website, it asked me various questions. Then I was offered a variety of
books to choose from. When you click on the book, it says the grade level, how
many pages it contains, and how many minutes it takes to read the book. The
best part about reading books on MyOn is that it automatically has someone
reading the book for you! At the end of each book, there are five simple
questions about the book. Every night before I go to sleep I read a book on
MyOn. Sometimes I really like the book and my mom even comes into my
room and starts complaining because I’m still reading! I am hooked on MyOn
and you could be too; if this doesn’t convince you, then check it out yourself!
