GCCA PURPOSE
The sharing of information, knowledge, and experience among its members to improve
efficiency within local government.
A network of membership data for the sharing of information to provide assistance to the Clerk.
Provide the encouragement for personal development in cooperation with ACCG, Carl Vinson
Institute of Government, and other institutions of higher education.
The creation of a forum for members to discuss matters of common interest to better the operation
of county government.
Promote and maintain the atmosphere to encourage the ethical conduct in all aspects of the
member’s personal and professional life.
Maintain a website for directory information on Georgia County Clerks; the Association’s
activities and minutes; upcoming training opportunities; and important links to federal, state and
local online information for Clerks.
