NORTH EAST ISD TRACK RESURFACING PROPOSAL
Re-surface tracks at Churchill, Johnson, Lee, MacArthur, Madison, Reagan, and Roosevelt high
schools for North East ISD
FieldTurf USA, Inc. is pleased to present the following proposal. Price estimates are based off of the TexBuy
Network pricing. TexBuy provides predetermined preferential pricing through approved vendors. Since the products
have already been bid at the national level, individual schools do not have to duplicate the bidding process per
TexBuy/AEPA Contract IFB #016.
CHURCHILL HIGH SCHOOL RESURFACING PROPOSAL

Thoroughly clean existing running track surface.
Full depth repairs of approximately 5 square yards with our BSS 300 synthetic track
system. Provide 2 drums (55 gallons) of polyurethane fill material to correct minor
deviations in existing surface. *If additional drums are required, the 55 gallon drums
are $2,500.00 each. We will notify the District and do a walk thru of any additional
areas that may need to be leveled, before any additional drums are ordered.
3. Install Beynon BSS 2000 re-top system to running track oval, chutes, and runways,
area is approximately 4,959 square yards. Re-top system to consist of 5 mm of
squeegee applied two component polyurethane with Red EPDM rubber granules (1-3
mm) broadcast finish. Excess granules shall be mechanically swept prior to striping.
4. Stripe completed surface to UIL/NFHS rules and regulations.
5. Warranty will be for 5 years (new surface only, does not cover existing track
surface).
6. Work to be completed summer 2016.

NOTES:

Track surfacing work will be completed in conjunction with the new D area surfacing to be installed under the
artificial turf contract.

Track surfacing to terminate on the inside curb, approximately 4” from the ACO Drain to mirror the edge of
the synthetic turf edge detail.

Work performed in addition to the specifications listed above require additional charges.

School will need to determine a staging area for materials delivery and equipment prior to construction.

Owner or others are required to provide paved or stoned roadway to site. Contractor not responsible for
damage if project access is across concrete.

Contractor not responsible for repairing entry to site.

Contractor not responsible for repair and restoration of all site areas outside of track.

