are visualized on a standard SDS-PAGE and can
be seen as the gel is running. Blue Duo™ Protein
Marker contains proteins of two different
colors, so that you can easily determine protein
molecular weight. Blue Duo™ markers are for
use with any SDS-PAGE gel system and can be
transferred to nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes
for Western blotting applications.

Description
LOADING BUFFERS & DYES
Protein Gel Loading Buffer, 2X
Contains glycerol and SDS. Used for denaturing protein electrophoresis.
Tracking Dye, 2D
Used for 2D protein electrophoresis.
Protein EZ-Vision® is compatible with
downstream Western Blotting Applications. Protein EZ-Vision® (A) and Coomassie®
Blue (B) staining of protein molecular weight
markers and cellular lysate. A 12.5% Laemmli
SDS-PAGE gel was run using Protein EZ-Vision®,
4X as the sample loading buffer. The following
were loaded in each lane: Lanes 1 and 3-10 µL
of AMRESCO’s Protein Molecular Weight Markers,
Wide Range (K494) Lanes 2 and 4-10 µg of K562
cell lysate. Immediate fluorescent visualization of
protein post-electrophoresis in lanes 1 and 2 was
achieved with a 2 sec UV exposure using a Sybr
Green filter with the Syngene GBox-HR Gel Doc
System (A). Lanes 3 and 4 were post-stained with
Coomassie® Blue protein stain for one hour and
destained one hour (B). AMRESCO’s Rapid Western Blotting Kit was used to detect Vimentin (C).
Proteins from Lanes 1 and 2, which were detected
using Protein EZ-Vision® (A), were transferred
onto a PVDF membrane with a semi-dry transfer unit for 10 minutes in Rapid Transfer Buffer
(N789). The blot was blocked and probed with
anti-vimentin and Rapid Western Blotting Kit.
AMRESCO’s VisiGlo PLUS™ HRP Chemiluminescent
Substrate Kit (N219-KIT) was used for detection.
ACRYLAMIDES
Colored Laemmli Stacking Gel Solution
Premixed acrylamide buffer forms a colored stacking gel for easy sample
loading. Sufficient for 10 gels (50 ml) or 20 gels (100 ml).
Acryl/Bis™ 37.5:1 Solution
40% solution containing 38.96% (w/v) acrylamide and 1.04% (w/v) bisacrylamide for monomer to cross-linker ratio of 37.5:1.
Acryl/Bis™ 37.5:1 Premixed Powder
