SOLICITATION TITLE: Contract B-40495 - Replacement of Oil Water Separators at Four (4) Locations, in the Boroughs of
Staten Island, Manhattan, and The Bronx.
DESCRIPTION: Remove, install, replace and upgrade specific oil/water separators and their components. This contract includes the
following: Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, and Environmental work. This project includes, but is
not limited to, the following:
- Removal & Replacement of concrete slab
- Removal of power to the existing equipment (mechanical and I&C
- Furnishing and installing new feeders (conduits/wires) to new equipment (mechanical and I&C) or reconnecting the existing feeders
(conduits/wires)
- Removal and legal disposal of existing Oil-Water Separators leak/level monitor, leak sensors and associated conduits/wiring, cables
and fasteners, and furnishing and installing new ones
- Removal and legal disposal of the Oil-Water Separators remote alarm/annunciator panel and associated conduits, cables and
fasteners, and furnishing and installing new ones
- Abatement work of environmentally regulated materials
- Removal methods and containment systems that will eliminate or minimize risk of worker and community exposure to lead
dust/debris
- Asbestos removal
- Disposal of contaminated soil and water
- Storm water management
-Waste management
- Rodent control
Funding: 100% MTA
