Plug-in numbers
With the SID product family 3M is setting the standards for high density IDC
termination combined with improved handling. The main applications are
in telecommunications and data networks. The SID insulation displacement
SID plug-in numbers, grey, printed 10-100
contacts are enclosed by the plastic housing of the module. This improves
the insulation performance and helps in providing a safe working practice.
The SID connection technology was developed for orderly termination
of plastic insulated cables and jumper wires, allowing for individual
screened circuits to be terminated.
The SID plug-in numbers allow easy identification of lines at SID connection
and disconnection modules. They are available as 10 piece strips in
grey colour, printed 10, 20, 30 .....100 or 1, 2, 3.....9, 0.
A wide range of accessories and a comprehensive overvoltage protection
complete the product family.
