Front cover:
Write “Land Biomes of the World”. The world map should be attached to the front. Color
the 7 biomes on the map. Use the map located on page 146 of the Living in the Environment
book for reference. Include a key for your map on the front cover of your foldable. Look
in Ch. 7 for information on each biome.
Each page in the notebook should include a biome from the following list. They should be in
the following order:
1. TUNDRA
2. DESERT
3. DECIDUOUS FOREST
4. TROPICAL RAIN FOREST
5. GRASSLAND
6. SAVANNA
7. CONIFEROUS FOREST
Under each biome, include the following:
1. Definition of the biome
2. Climate (temperature and rainfall)
3. Major plants (at least 4)
4. Major animals (at least 4)
5. 1 adaptation of a plant or animal.
