The LMU OneCard.
it’s all you need.
You will be issued a OneCard when you begin
classes at LMU. Not only is it your student ID
card, but it’s also your library card, meal card
and residence hall access card. In short, it’s the
official campus card. It can be used in many
ways for all kinds of transactions, both on and off
campus. The way you use it depends entirely on
your personal needs! Your OneCard is valid as
long as you are actively enrolled at LMU.
there are several accounts
you can have on your onecard.
l. i. o. n. plans
Students living in traditional residence halls are
required to purchase one of the four California
sales-tax exempt, non-refundable LMU meal
plans. Commuter students enrolled in 12 or
more units and students living in on-campus
apartments are also eligible to purchase one of
these plans. The LION meal plans are good at any
of the dining venues on-campus only.
The LION mandatory meal plan can be
purchased by completing the online application
in Student Housing Online Services via MyLMU.
For more information go to:
www.lmu.edu/studentlife/studenthousing
and click on Meal Plans.
The funds in your LION plan account must
be used by July 31st of each academic year.
Any remaining balance on these plans on
July 31st will be removed. However, for returning
students, a small percentage of the LION plans
rolls over to the next year and is placed in the
S-Dollar account.
s-dollar plan
This supplemental meal plan is available to all
full time (12+ units) undergraduate and resident
students only. Like funds in the L, I, O, and N
plans, the money spent from your S-Dollar
account is not subject to sales tax and is only
used for on-campus food. Also like LION plans it
is subject to forfeiture of balance when
the student leaves the university (but not subject
to 5% rollover)
If you run out of LION Dollars during the year,
you can deposit additional funds in the optional
Lion S-Dollar account.
