Revocation of the Land at Queenscliff as a Site for a the Reservation of for a Baby Health [31 5 / July, 1939.] W HEREAS by Order in Council of the thirtieth day Preamble, of March One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one oSTisth the land described in the First Schedule to this Act was 1^^517, permanently reserved as a site for a public park : Apriuosi, p. 1070. First And whereas the land described in the Second Schedule to this Act forms part of the land described in the said First Schedule: And whereas it is expedient that the hereinbefore recited Order in Council, so far as the same relates to the land described in the said Second Schedule, be revoked in order that the said land may pursuant to the Land Acts be reserved as a site for a baby health centre : Be Schcdule - Schedule. 8 3 GEO. [No. 4333 Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Victoria in this present Parliament assembled and by the authority of the same as follows (that is to say):— Short title. Revocation of reservation of land described Jn Second Schedule ns Bite for public park. Land described in Second Schedule to be unalienated Crown land. Power to Governor in Council to reserve land described in Second Schedule as site for baby health centre. 1 . This Act may be cited as the Queenscliff Land Act 1939. 2 . (1) The hereinbefore recited Order in Council of the thirtieth day of March One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, so far as the same relates to the land described in the Second Schedule to this Act, is hereby revoked. (2) The land described in the said Second Schedule shall be and be deemed to be unalienated land of the Crown freed and discharged from all trusts encumbrances reservations limitations and restrictions whatsoever. (3) The Governor in Council may pursuant to the Land Acts reserve the land described in the said Second Schedule as a site for a baby health centre. SCHEDULES. Preamble. FIRST SCHEDULE. Land, being the land permanently reserved by Order in Council dated 30th March, 1931 (see Government Gazettes of 18th February, 1931, page 577, and 1st April, 1931, page 1076) as a site for a public park in the town of Queenscliff, parish of Payivit. Six acres, thirteen perches, town of Queenscliff, parish of Paywit, county of Grant: Commencing at the junction of the eastern side of Mercer-street and the southern side of King-street ; bounded thence by the latter street bearing S. 75° E. seven chains fifty-four and fivetenths links ; thence by lines bearing respectively S. 14° 16' W. ninetyfour and five-tenths links, S. 61° 45' E. fifty-two links, S. 80° 14' E. twenty links, S. 89° V E. twenty-eight links, S. 76° 11' E. twenty-four links, S. 20° 12' W. two chains seventeen and five-tenths links, S. 25° 56' W. one chain two links, S. 16° 54' W. twenty-eight links, S. 11° 45' W. eighty-eight links, S. 16° 48' W. two chains twelve links and S. 73° 46' E. two chains eighty-five and six-tenths links; thence by Hesse-street bearing S. 15° W. four links ; thence by lines bearing respectively N. 73° 46' W. two chains eighty-nine and eight-tenths links, N. 16° 29' E. twenty-three and five-tenths links, N. 74° 18' W. four chains ninetyseven and five-tenths links, S. 64° 22' W. two chains eighty-three and five-tenths links and S. 73° 39' W. one chain sixty-eight and seven-tenths links ; and thence by Mercer-street aforesaid north-easterly ten chains five and three-tenths links in an arc of a circle whose centre lies sixteen chains north-westerly, and with chord bearing N. 16° 25' E. nine chains eighty-eight and eight-tenths links to the point of commencement. SECOND 3 GEO. VI.] Queenscliff Land. [No. 4633 SECOND SCHEDULE. Land, being part of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, the reservation of which is hereby revoked and which may be reserved as a site for a Baby Health Centre. Eighteen and four-tenths perches more or less, town of Queenscliff, parish of Paywit, county of Grant: Commencing at a point bearing S. 75° 0' E. one chain two and two-tenths links from the intersection of the eastern side of Mercer-street and the south-western side of King-street; bounded thence by the latter street bearing S. 75°0' E. seventy-five and eight-tenths links; and thence by lines bearing respectively S. 15° 0' W. one chain fifty-one and five-tenths links, N. 75° 0' W. seventy-five and eight-tenths links, and N. 15° 0' E. one chain fifty-one and five-tenths links to the point of commencement. 9
