If you have already completed the HAVEN training, congratulations and thank you for doing your part as a responsible participant of the Kingsborough Community College community! If you did NOT complete the required HAVEN online training, it is important that you do so as soon as possible. The HAVEN student training is part of Kingsborough’s commitment to providing an environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors that is free from sexual discrimination and violence. After completing the training, we hope that you will feel more confident in your ability to recognize sexual assault and discrimination, distinguish the ways in which you can help someone who has been affected by sexual assault, and become aware of the actions you can take to prevent sexual assault from occurring.
