In 2014, ELY provided expert collection relocation services for the
National Park Service’s (NPS) Clara Barton National Historic Site
including the packing, crating, and transport of over 4,300 objects,
such as framed artwork, ceramics, rugs/textiles, and furniture, as well
as a significant archival collection. In order to manage such a large
collections move, ELY used a coded inventory labeling system
enabling the NPS staff to efficiently retrieve any object.
We also designed and fabricated all artifact crates using museum and
archival quality materials to protect all types of collection objects.
