There are numerous new announcements in both NES and
Community News this week. Please take a few minutes to read over
the parent memo asap. 
Message from Principal Waits:
Dear NES Families,
On behalf of the NES faculty and staff, I want to express our sincere gratitude for
the love and support shown to us this week during Teacher Appreciation
Week. Our teachers and staff were showered with treats, gifts, and tokens of
appreciation!! NES definitely has the most generous, gracious, and giving parents
and families, and we simply can’t thank you all enough for all that you did last
week to show our teachers and staff just how much they are appreciated and loved.
Thank you for sharing your precious children with us. We are so blessed to be a
part of each and every one of their lives!

instantly see how their children are doing within the PBIS Rewards
program. With this PBIS app, parents can see:
 Point earnings
 Discipline Referrals (classroom and office referrals)
 Items purchased, privileges purchased, and events registered
o We think that each feature on the Parent App is helpful in keeping
parents involved in their child’s school lives. By seeing how students

are doing with respect to points earned each day, parents can offer
encouragement and praise.
Additionally, parents may spot a concern if they see that their child is
earning fewer and fewer points each day. Instantly knowing if your
child receives an office referral is useful for obvious reasons, and we
think helping parents keep an eye on items purchased is also
beneficial.
With the hustle and bustle of modern times, keeping track of your
student’s progress in school at the touch of a button is a must!
