Compact desktop media sanitizer deploys patented
crushing plates to deliver an incredible 40,000 pounds
of force to macerate the protected platters in HDDs,
rendering any data stored on these media unreadable
and unrecoverable. The process is fully automated
and only takes 30 seconds. The Center for Storage
Device Sanitization Research (CSDSR) at the National
Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS)
has approved the MediaVise® Compact Digital Media
Sanitizer for hard drive destruction with a rating of
90 one-inch hard drives per hour. Also destroys cell
phones and PDAs.
