(100 points) Character Traits Double Bubble: You will list at least 5 character traits for the
following characters. Along with the traits, you have to provide a statement or series of
statements as evidence of that trait for that character. You will put these into a Double
Bubble diagram as shown below. Each character will have their own Double Bubble diagram.
You will be graded on 5 traits and the evidence to support them. Any trait with the evidence
as support over 5 will be worth 1 bonus point each. If the trait or evidence is not valid or
supported, you will not receive credit for the graded portion or the bonus portion. Character
traits are not physical characteristics. They tell about the personality of the character.

(25 points) Figurative Language: The author uses a lot of similes in the story. Find 5 similes
from the story. Write the simile and then tell what each simile means.
(200 points) Book Report: You can choose from the following list for a book report.
a. Diorama: Create a diorama of the world of Terabithia that Jess and Leslie created.
Include with your diorama a 1-page(double spaced) personal reflection to the
story.
b. A Letter to the Author: You may write a 3-page (double spaced) letter to the
author telling her what you thought about the book, suggest changes you’d like,
and ask any questions you may have.
c. A picture of Jess and Leslie: You may draw a picture of what you think Jess and
Leslie look like, either on an everyday basis or while in their world of Terabithia.
You will need to include a list of physical characteristics for each. You will also
write a 1-page personal reflection to the story.
