RHONDA VINCENT TECHNICAL AND STAGING SETUP REQUIRMENTS AND INFORMATION
** VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE NO LIVE FLOWERS, HAY, STRAW, OR EXCESSIVE DUST; due to allergies.
Purchaser shall insure a clean, LEVEL, stage, free from all unused equipment; using only artificial types of flowers, and decorations.
STAGE
- Purchaser shall provide a covered stage, if outdoors, which will protect ARTIST from the elements, including bright sun and/or rain and insure the safety of the
ARTIST and ARTIST’S equipment. Show will be cancelled, and artist will be paid in full, if lightening, storms, wind or any safety issues prevail.
- Purchaser shall provide two (2) electrical outlets on stage. One on stage left – One at center stage.
LIGHTS
- Stage should be a bright general stage wash covering the entire area designated on the stage diagram. In all possible instances a solo spotlight and operator shall
be provided.
- Purchaser shall provide a professional quality lighting system for any indoor performance and/or any outdoor performance when performance will take place near
or after sunset.
SOUND
PURCHASER shall provide:
- Stage Hand & Sound Technician for set up, tear down, sound check.
- Front of House – Sound Mixing Engineer
- 10 XLR inputs to drop at monitor board on stage (if possible) or 10 channel sub snake to go to house inputs.
- A state-of-the-art professional quality sound mixing board, with a minimum of ten (10) channels and outputs for mains and monitors, four (4) bands of EQ per
channel, (3 bands EQ per channel with mid-sweep is acceptable),31 band EQ for house, at least one extra aux/effects send. Main Speakers for House.
- The above system should cover auditorium/ theater or Outdoor Venue adequately. Size of main speakers and power amplification should be increased
accordingly for larger facilities or outdoor festivals. (Stage diagram is attached.)
- The mixing and soundboard must be operated from an audience position.
- This position must have a full, clear view of stage center.
- Speaker Placement: Please (Do Not Place Speakers On The Stage Corners) if it is a small stage. Place them out to each side on stands.
ARTIST will provide:
- All Microphones /Stands, Cables, Bass Amp, All instruments. All mics are Shure Brand.
- Monitor board with Split and Shure 900 in ear monitors.
- Small fiddle stage table & instrument stands.

RHONDA WILL PROVIDE: MICS/Stands/Cables. On stage monitor mixing board with split. Bass Amp
HOUSE PROVIDES: Clear, Level Stage w/stable rug (preferably 20’ x 10’ or larger) - free of front monitors (when possible),
equipment, or any debris.
HOUSE MIX: Please adjust all Mics to get max volume for each instrument and EQ to remove all rings, feed back,
causing sound to reflect the natural sound of instruments and voices.
MIX PREFERENCE: Rhonda and the band will work the mic level to make each solo front and center. Make the banjo pop and very prominent. Give the fiddle a
sweet warm tone. Get guitar as loud as possible. Bring Bass level up enough to support the other instruments but not overbearing. Bring all vocal mics to meet the
same level and intensity as Rhonda’s lead vocal.
If possible, please don’t adjust the instrument mic levels during the show. We will mix with the acoustic instruments on stage. The vocals may have to be adjusted
according to who is singing lead.
Purchaser will provide a FOH engineer.
Rhonda will listen during Soundcheck and advise sound engineer on tones and volumes .
