Definition and Sentence

Rueful- regretful
-We felt rueful when our friend didn't get invited to the
party.
 Disheveled- wrinkled, unkempt in appearance
-The man was untidy, messy and his hair was long and all
over the place: he looked disheveled, and may even
have spent a couple of days living rough

metaphor for the illusion that respect
and status in society rely upon wealth.

borrowed was suppose to prove
that she was a member of high
end society but it turned out to be
fake, just like her belief that she
was a member of a higher society.
