IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION
Thank you for registering in the 2017 Titan Macquarie Mud Run.
This year’s course is set to be even better than ever with lots of really fun obstacles and
we are excited about the fantastic event you will be part of!
If you have team members or any other mates who are still to register, let them know to
be quick, as online registrations will be open up until MIDNIGHT this Thursday, 23rd
March. We will only have on the day entries if we do not sell out prior.
On Friday morning you will receive an email advising what your actual start wave time
will be. This will also be posted on our website, so keep an eye out for it.
Please read the below event information:
CHECK-IN
You will need to check in prior to the event. Check in will be held on Friday, 24th March
on site at Ollie Robbins Oval near the boat ramp, between 2.00pm until 6.00pm. You
will collect your race bib and included t-shirt, plus any merchandise ordered. We
encourage everybody wherever possible to check in on Friday to avoid the rush on
Saturday morning.
For those who are unable to get there Friday, check in will be held again from 7.00am
on Saturday. If you are coming on Saturday, please get there at least an hour
before your start time.
Please bring your registration confirmation with you showing the QR code – this can be
on your phone or printed – this will speed up the check in process. A copy of your ticket
is at the bottom of this email also.
If you wish to check in for your other team mates you will need to bring their
confirmation and their signed waiver. (see below)
WAIVERS - IMPORTANT TO NOTE
You will need to bring a signed copy of your waiver, which is available to download
here: WAIVER
Please note that you will need to hand in your signed waiver before you can
participate.
ELITE WAVE
Kicking off at 8.00am is the Elite Wave. We will be timing the first participants home in
both Men’s and Women’s categories for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Trophies will be
awarded to those securing the above places and there will be a presentation for this at
10.30am which will be at the Star FM area.
KIDS EVENTS
Both age groups of the kids event will be running from 12.00pm, being released in
waves. However please be there at 12.00 ready to go.
PLEASE NOTE: The Kids events will be starting from the Regand Park Area. To
access the starting line, you will need to go to the Tamworth Street Foot bridge area
and walk South, along the allocated path, following the signs and flags. Parking will be
along Tamworth Street and South Street. Please do not attempt to enter Regand Park
in your vehicle as access is for event and emergency vehicles only.
The kids will be following the orange flags and bunting. The course runs alongside
but in an opposite direction to the adults course around Mud Mania and then back past
the starting line to the main finish line on Ollie Robbins Oval. If you have smaller
children that you feel would require your supervision, there will be a track beside the
course that you will be able to walk/run along.
The kids will need to check in at our tent in Ollie Robbins, so please ensure you check
them in prior to 11.00 to give yourself time to get to the starting area (or even better
still, check in on Friday, so you can go straight to the starting line on Saturday).

PARKING
There is plenty of parking all along Bligh Street and area including the shopping centres
car parks.
MERCHANDISE
If you have ordered shirts, caps or stubby holders during registration, you will be able to
collect them at our merchandise tent.
We will have a limited selection of singlets, t-shirts, caps, stubby holders, stickers and
our new Titan Towels available for sale both Friday during check-in hours and also
Saturday. Eftpos facilities will be available.
BAG DROP
There will be a bag drop area managed by The Pink Angels. The cost will be a gold
coin donation, which will all go to the Pink Angels.
FINISH LINE
Once you cross the finish line, you will receive your hard earned medal, Full on Snack,
beer or drink. There will be food, music and fun all based at Ollie Robbins Oval
AFTER PARTY
Celebrate at the end of the day at the Dubbo RSL Club up in the Terrace area from 6.30
pm. It is a family friendly affair. There will be a pizza and burger bar, kids welcome
when accompanied by an adult.
