Ian Klaus resigned as president of Coffs Harbour Boardriders effective
16th August 2014.
Lee Winkler moved into the position of acting President of Coffs
Harbour Boardriders effective 16th August 14.The position of president
will be up for nomination at the AGM December 6th 2014..
Dave Schultz will be primary cardholder of the bank account and Leisa
Kadwell (secretary) will be secondary cardholder.Ian will return credit
card and Leisa will contact bank and organise the card.
Leisa will contact Surfing NSW and organise for any emails to be sent
to herself and continue sending them to Lee Winkler as contacts.
Any official paperwork for Coffs Harbour Boardriders will be passed
onto Leisa Kadwell from Ian Klaus.
Ians agenda item –Trailer Registration.Reg made enquires with the
RTA and because CHBC is not a corporation the trailer rego cannot go
into CHBC name. Bryan Stocks has agreed to transfer the rego of the
trailer into his name when it comes due in Dec 14.All costs incurred will
be paid by CHBC.
LEE WINKLER
Lee spoke about the application for the council to propose CHBC get a
club house. Lee spoke with a member of staff at Coffs Harbour City
Council and he was advised to check the website and submit a
application. Sharni suggested Twayne from the Hoey to help with this
Lee will speak with Twayne about helping put in a application.
JOHN MACHON
John would like all the competitors going in the Kirra Teams Challenge
in September to travel to the event either all on a bus together (to create
team spirit)or at least travel in 3 vehicles with each group traveling
together.
John will get prices on a bus and let the committee know. He and the
guys taking the kids will also work out food and other details so the
parents can be advised.
Leisa has organized Cadbury Chocolate fundraiser we ordered 18 boxes
which have been sold $360 profit and it agreed Leisa would order more
this week.
Leisa has organised Carly Simpson to run raffles each Sunday afternoon
the first raffle was last Sunday.$165 profit was made these will continue
and Carly will organise a roster for the Kirra kids to help out until the
comp and John will help out and John said he will continue these raffles
to raise funds towards the Aust Boardriders battle.
New Team Selectors

The Aust Boardriders Battle is on 15th November 2014 ,the selectors will
pick a team .
Lee will speak to Gigs Peplow and see if she can help with organising
the accommodation for 2 nights
Leisa will nominate the team when the nominations open on 1st Sept.The
cost to nominate is $165

The balance in the account is $7596.81.The bbq from the Australian
titles made $1800.Tracey ran the bbq for 7 days and the club paid her
$100 a day for running the bbq.
Lauryn is going to chase up the sponsorship money owed from th Oz
Grom Cup from Billabong and Kustom.
*Lauryn will also put up the details for Koori award nominees too (with
junior and senior reps)
SHARNI.
The hoey are major sponsors for both CHBC and the Coffs Comets.
Sharni has spoken to the comets with potential days to organise a social
day for both clubs and will advise when a date is chosen.
Social day Sunday 31st August.-Casual day meet at 12 at beach behind
the hoey and play some beach games.Sharni will bring a dodge ball,Wal
will bring football, Ian Klaus will bring golf clubs and balls.Gray will
provide a tarp for tarp surfing. Sharni will put the details on FB.
LAURYN
Lauryn asked who pays for the hosting of our website she will speak with
Bryne Goode about this.
Smorgasboarder magazine have saved a page in the next issue of the
magazine for CHBC to put in a update on next years OGC comp
General Business
It was agreed that Bryan Stocks will purchase a generator up to the
value of $1000. It was agreed that CHBC is not looking at using
electronic score boards in the near future so the original generator
agreed to purchase will support any equipment the club has.
John made enquiries with Stitch Embroidery in regards to purchasing
new hats for the club to sell. The committee agreed to order
20 girls hats @ $12 each
50 Flat hats @ $12 each
50 Fitted baseball hats $14.50 each

down meal and price this and get back to committee.
Lee will speak with Rabbit Bartholomew about MC the presentation and
will get back to the committee.
CHBC will pay for glad and silver sponsors meals this year
Anyone is invited but must pay for a meal otherwise no entry
There will be no paying at the door .
Sharni will speak to Les Gant about possibly making a dv dos the kids
over the next couple months to show at the presso.
Sharni has a list of jobs for the committee members for presso.
