Basse's Taste of Country presents guided, interactive nature field trips for Kindergarten through 4th grade based on Wisconsin
Academic Standards for Science. Basse's is conveniently located minutes from Milwaukee and surrounding suburbs in
Menomonee Falls-no long bus rides! Our country setting is sure to make this a hands-on experience for all students.
Basses' School Tour Field Trip
Enjoy an animated education presentation. Learn how animals, trees and plants prepare for winter during this informative field trip. Students
will visit and feed our farm animals, learn human (and animal) uses for locally harvested crops, take a tractor drawn hayride to the pumpkin
patch for a pumpkin (one per person), take a walk through our labrynth (short-course corn maze) and receive and a postcard of the maze.
Price: $6.00 per student/chaperone
Field Trips scheduled Mon-Fri 9:00-1:00 rain or shine. Reservations required.

One Teacher per class is free (one per class per tour only) (example: 3 classes = 3 teachers free).
Home School Teachers: only one teacher who sets up tour will be free, even if more than one teacher attends.
One Chaperone per every 10 children is REQUIRED.
Non-Walkers are free (excludes pumpkin and gourd).
Payment Terms: $50.00 non refundable deposit is required but credited at time of tour. Deposit required one week prior
to tour to hold reservation. Balance due before the time the tour begins. Pay at main store. Basse’s
will confirm number of participants at the time of educational presentation. If needed, some groups
may be combined.
No Rain Dates. If rain occurs and fields are muddy and wet, prior to tour, corn maze will be closed, a tractor ride through
the fields ONLY and pumpkins picked out on grass.
Late Tour Arivals. Modifications will be made to the field trips due to late arrivals.
Picnic Facilities. Available by reservation between the hours of 10:00 and noon. Add $.50 per student for facility charge.
Basse’s Taste of Country is not liable or responsible for any injuries due to lack of supervision, lost items or any other aspe
that pertain to the school tour that was given on the contract date.
