The Revere High School community is diverse with
students from all over the world. There are currently
34 languages spoken within our system, with 12%
of these students classified as limited English
proficient.

Structure
Students in grade 9 are housed on the second
floor in the Freshman Academy. Students from
grades 10-12 are evenly divided into three
houses, with each house containing a specific
grade of the student population. A Vice Principal
leads each house. Guidance counselors are
evenly divided by alphabet and support students
during their four years.
Schedule
The high school offers 80 minute block
scheduling in which courses are divided into
quarter (.5 credit), semester (1.0 credit) and
yearlong classes (2.0, 2.4 AP credit) Courses
meet daily in a 4 block schedule. Electives in
Fine Arts, English, Social Studies, Math,
Reading and Technology are offered by the
quarter, semester and yearlong (AP).

Total Academic Credits to Graduate: 28 credits
.5 credit is awarded for successfully completing
a quarter course and 1.0 credit is awarded for
successfully completing a semester course. All
AP courses are yearlong and 2.4 credits are
awarded upon successful completion.
