Official Social Media Week Miami 2015 T-Shirt Design Contest Rules and Regulations
WHO MAY ENTER?
 Contest is open to everyone over 18 years of age, whether professional designers, students or amateurs.
 Contest is also open to individuals under 18 years of age, but only if a parent or guardian submits the official
entry on behalf of the contestant.
 Employees of Eventcrowd LLC, Crowdcentric Media LLC and their immediate family members are
disqualified from participation.
 All entries not complying with the following rules will be disqualified.
ENTRY
 Only graphic designs are eligible for entry.
 The design must be an original, not currently entered in another contest nor have been the winning entry in a
prior contest.
 Contestant must have full legal rights to such design.
 The design should capture the contest theme: “Upwardly Mobile: The Rise of the Connected Class.”
 Pornographic images and any image that at any stage involved cruelty or violence to humans or
animals/wildlife will not be permitted and will be disqualified.
 Only one design per contestant, please.
HOW TO ENTER?
 Contestants must complete the official Entry Form below, and submit it along with the entry to
[email protected] as a PDF file not to exceed 5 MB in size.
 Entries must be received by midnight on Sunday, August 16, 2015.
JUDGING
 Only entries complying with these Contest rules may win.
 Entries will be judged on the basis of 1) originality, 2) keeping with contest theme, and 3) visual appeal
including use of color.
 A panel of judges selected by Eventcrowd, which may include Eventcrowd employees, sponsors, partners and
friends, will judge entries.
 The judges’ decisions are final and binding.
 An odd number of judges will be placed on the panel to minimize the chances of a tie. In the event of a time
between two images, the judges will be asked to recast their votes based only upon those top images to break
the tie.
 Winners will be notified by e-mail or telephone on or about Friday, August 21, 2015.
WINNER & PRIZES
 One winner will receive (1) a $150 Visa Gift Certificate, (2) two (2) full access passes to Social Media Week
Miami, to be held in Wynwood, FL during the week of September 14, 2015, (3) two (2) complimentary Social
Media Week Miami 2015 T-Shirts, featuring their winning entry, (4) recognition on Social Media Week
Miami’s website and social media channels, and (5) honorary mention during the event.
 The full retail value of the prizes listed above is $1,000.
 Winners may not transfer prize rights nor obtain substitutions or cash redemptions.

DESIGNEES, LICENSEES OR AFFILIATES MAY USE YOUR NAME, PICTURE, LIKENESS, VOICE,
AND BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION. YOU GRANT EVENTCROWD, CROWDCENTRIC AND/ OR
THEIR DESIGNEES, LICENSEES OR AFFILIATES A LICENSE IN THE ENTRY AND
ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EVENTCROWD, CROWDCENTRIC AND/ OR THEIR DESIGNEES,
LICENSEES OR AFFILIATES MAY USE THE ENTRY AND A CREDIT THAT MAY INCLUDE YOUR

LOGO, COPYRIGHT OR TRADEMARK AS PART OF YOUR ENTRY DESIGN IN THIS CONTEST,
BUT ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO USE THE SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK AND/OR
SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK MIAMI NAME, LOGO, COPYRIGHT OR TRADEMARK FOR ANY PURPOSE
WHATSOEVER OTHER THAN YOUR ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST, AND THAT IF YOU USE YOUR
GRAPHIC DESIGN ENTRY IN THE FUTURE FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE YOU SHALL OMIT ANY
AND ALL REFERENCES TO THE SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK AND/OR SOCIAL MEDIA WEEK MIAMI
NAME, LOGO, COPYRIGHT OR TRADEMARK.
 You acknowledge that You have no right to use any of the intellectual property the Social Media Week name
 You acknowledge that Eventcrowd, Crowdcentric, their Designees, Licensees and Affiliates have no
obligation to use or post your entry.
 By entering this contest You agree to release Eventcrowd, Crowdcentric and their designees, licensees and
affiliates from all claims and liabilities in connection with this contest or with any of the prizes.
 By entering this Contest You agree that any and all dispute related to this Contest shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without giving effect to ant choice of law or
conflict of law rules; and You consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located
in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
 Eventcrowd reserves the right to disqualify anyone who, in its opinion, has tampered with or disrupted the
entry process or operation of this Contest or violated the rules.
 If the Contest cannot be run as planned for any reason, including technical problems, Eventcrowd reserves
the right to cancel, curtail, modify or suspend the Contest. In the event the Contest is terminated early, winners
will be selected from all eligible entries received prior to the time of termination.
