Dr. Advani & Dr. Verma are excited to introduce their
new partner at North Harwood Dental, Dr. Thapar!
Dr. Manish Thapar, pictured centre, is a graduate of the University of Toronto,
Faculty of Dentistry. Prior to studying dentistry, he completed a Master in Business
Administration specializing in Health Care Management from McMaster University.
He has provided his caring brand of dentistry to the Durham region for over 5 years
now. Dr. Thapar is a member in good standing with the Royal College of Dental
Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Academy of
General Dentistry (AGD), and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (a dental society honoring
graduates at the top of their class). He is married, a father of two and looking
forward to serving the Ajax community with quality
service and a friendly smile!
Introducing our new resident
Periodontist, Dr. Leung!
Dr. Leung, schedules consultations for dental
implants, grafting, gum and periodontal disease,
bone loss and much more right here, in the comfort
and familiarity of our office. Dr. David Leung grew
up in Toronto, where he attended Upper Canada
College for 11 years. He attended New York
University where he received degrees in Finance
and Biochemistry. After college, he moved to
Philadelphia where he attended the University of
Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, receiving
both his doctorate and periodontics training.
1. Dr. Advani graduated from Boston University with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree
(D.M.D.) in 2004, after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto.
He enjoys meeting and treating new patients of all ages at his practices, and sharing
information on the soft tissue laser treatments and Invisalign “invisible” braces offered as
part of our general dentistry services.

2. Dr. Verma attended the University of Waterloo, where he completed both a B.A. in
General Arts and a BSc. Degree in Science before obtaining his D.M.D. from Boston
University. Dr. Verma’s goal is to provide the best quality of care to all his patients in a
compassionate manner.

3. Dr. Asgari is a general dentist who focuses his practice on endodontics (root canal procedures).
4. Dr. Wohl has been a general dentist for 27 years. He now focuses his field of practice to the
removal of wisdom teeth and other complex extractions.

5. Dr. Walt earned his dental degree from the University of Western Ontario, as well as an
Orthodontic Specialty Certificate and a Master of Science Degree from the University of Colorado.
