Lesney Toys Factory Planning Application
What is a Largescale Major
Planning Application?
Address of Proposed
Development
There are lots of different planning applications, from
extensions to houses to the buildings of a new sports centre.
These are all put into different categories. Telford Homes Plc
and ACME Studios have submitted what is known as a
Largescale Major Planning Application.
The development site is the Former Lesney Toys Factory,
Homerton, E9 5TR.
The existing plan of the site and how it looks today is below.
Largescale Major Applications provide more than:
• 200 flats or houses, or
• 10,000 square metres of floorspace.
The Council usually consults on all Planning Applications
with those who live in the immediate area. This is a large
development that could affect lots of people and have a
significant impact on the local area. The Council wants to
make sure everyone has the chance to have their say.
It is important that if you have any comments on the proposal
you let us know during this consultation.
