Registration is open to all Mountainside Residents & School Staff. Please note that
due to the overwhelming response over the last few years, the MEF reserves the
right to limit the number of acts that will be permitted to perform in the Talent
Show. Acts will be registered on a first come, first served basis.

Talent Show Participation Rules

There will be a maximum time limit imposed on all acts. For grades 3 & up,
acts must be 2 minutes or less. For grades K through 2, acts must be 1.5
minutes or less.
In fairness to all participants, these time limits will be
strictly enforced by the Talent Show Committee.

All participants will be limited to performing in only one act, regardless of
whether it is a solo or group performance.

A mandatory Rehearsal will be held on Tuesday 4/4 at 3:30pm. All acts must
attend the Rehearsal and have their act cleared by the Talent Show Committee
for both time and content. If the Talent Show Committee deems the act does
not meet the show guidelines, the performer will have one additional
opportunity to alter the act and have it approved on Tues 4/18/17.

It is the responsibility of the performer to obtain all recorded music and or
sheet music for their act. All recorded music must be copied to a labeled CD
and brought with the performer to the Dress Rehearsal.

assistance cutting music to the appropriate length or copying to a CD, please

If accompaniment is needed, it must be arranged by the participant.

Only acts deemed appropriate for the family atmosphere of the Mountainside
community will be permitted to perform.
I have read the Talent Show Participation Rules noted above and understand
that not complying with these rules may exclude me from participation in
the Talent Show.
