GOLF: Our 18-Hole Championship golf course is designed
to challenge the experienced golfer, yet welcome the novice
or less skilled. Designed and built by Robert Trent Jones, the
dean of American golf course architects, the course provides
a fair and demanding test of golf from tee to green. A golf pro shop is on site, where
you can choose from a variety of equipment options, as well as specially selected
clothing and accessories.
DINING: We offer one of the finest dining experiences
in the Capital Region. Members and their guests can
enjoy the relaxed yet elegant dining atmosphere of the
Club while taking in the beautiful views. The Capital Grille Room is our
exclusive member dining room. Our members can have a private dinner with
their family, or socialize with other members. Our menus are designed by our
award-winning staff and will accommodate any special requests. Members enjoy our comprehensive
lunch and dinner services without any food and beverage minimums.
BANQUETS: We regularly host meetings, luncheons,
private social events, member functions, fundraisers,
weddings and much more. Several rooms are
available that can suit any of your needs. We will
prepare superb cuisine to suit your group and event. Attentive staff will

TENNIS: The tennis facilities of the
Albany Country Club are comprised of
six outdoor, Har-tru clay surface courts,
two of which are lighted for night play, a
pro shop, office, restrooms and a covered porch where you can watch all the action.
Two paddle tennis courts are available for use during the cooler months. Our

FORETEES TEE TIME AND EVENT RESERVATION SYSTEM: Schedule tee times or sign up for
tournaments online through our ForeTees Reservation system. You can even do so from your
smart phone through our Mobile APP!
COMPREHENSIVE WEBSITE: Our newly redesigned website enables members to make dining and
event reservations online, view billing statements and even pay bills online. There is also a full
calendar, member directory and so much information to keep you up to date and informed.
PREPAID DUES INCENTIVES: Many of our members enjoy prepaying their annual dues at the

AWARD WINNING CULINARY TEAM: Our award winning culinary team

mornings at 9:00 a.m. Each week the golf pro shop makes the pairings and organizes some sort of

work in the afternoon and early evening. The league features a team format with players of
varying handicaps. Players in the league can tee off between 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The golf

WEDNESDAY WOMEN’S EVENING LEAGUE: This league is for women of all levels and
abilities who generally cannot participate in the morning leagues. This league features a team
format with varying games each week. Players in this league can tee off between 2:00 pm. and
6:00 p.m. with the golf pro shop assisting in making the pairings.
THURSDAY MORNING 18-HOLE LADIES: The women who belong to this league are generally
intermediate golfers or better who have an 18-hole handicap. This league plays on Thursday
mornings. The league uses a mix of shotguns and tee times beginning at 8:00 a.m. There will be
different events each week with the golf pro shop providing the pairings.
THURSDAY MORNING ROBS: The ROBs is a golf league of men 55 and over which has been
in existence at Albany Country Club for over 30 years. Goodwill and camaraderie mixed with a
periodic “good shot” are our stated objectives. In addition to the weekly competitive golf,
punctuated by a social occasion or two, our golf season is highlighted by our home and away
tournaments with Wolfert’s Roost ROBs. The league uses a shotgun start on Thursday
mornings at either 8:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. and features an individual competition. Pairings are
made by the golf pro shop on the day of the league.

AMENITIES
FAMILY/CHILDREN PROGRAMS: Albany Country Club offers numerous
children’s, family and junior events and programs. These amenities include
Junior Golf, Junior Tennis, Interclub Swim Team, Children’s Summer
Camp, Parent-Child Golf Tournaments, Movie Nights at the Pool, Summer
Carnival, “Invite a Friend” Day at the Pool, Parent’s Night Out with Babysitting, Kids Sleepover,
Family Easter Party, Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks, End of Summer Pool Party,
Family Halloween Party, Santa Brunch, Gingerbread House Party and Family First Night.
ACC SUMMER DAY CAMP:
All day Summer Camp for
children entering
kindergarten through 12
years old begins the first
Monday after school is out. The program runs
Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.,
with extended care available, for nine weeks. Children will participate in golf, tennis, swim, group
games, arts and crafts.

JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM: Albany Country Club’s Junior Golf Program is
second to none, extending six weeks through the summer. Many kids spend
the entire day going from swim team practice to junior golf, lunch, then
tennis lessons and back to the pool for the afternoon.
FORETEES TEE TIME AND EVENT RESERVATION SYSTEM: Schedule tee times or sign up for
tournaments online through our ForeTees Reservation system. You can even do so from your
smart phone through our Mobile APP!
COMPREHENSIVE WEBSITE: Our newly redesigned website enables members to make dining and
event reservations online, view billing statements and even pay bills online. There is also a full
calendar, member directory and so much information to keep you up to date and informed.
PREPAID DUES INCENTIVES: Many of our members enjoy prepaying their annual dues at the
beginning of the year and taking advantage of incentives to do so in the form of greens passes or
dining coupons.
AWARD WINNING CULINARY TEAM: Our award winning culinary team
prepares a variety of menus from casual fare to formal dinners, and special
menus such as children’s, junior and gluten free. We also offer food and
beverage at our Between Nines Café, and an elaborate pool snack bar menu
second to none in our area.

FACILITIES
GOLF: Our 18-Hole Championship golf course is designed
to challenge the experienced golfer, yet welcome the novice
or less skilled. Designed and built by Robert Trent Jones, the
dean of American golf course architects, the course provides
a fair and demanding test of golf from tee to green. A golf pro shop is on site, where
you can choose from a variety of equipment options, as well as specially selected
clothing and accessories.
DINING: We offer one of the finest dining experiences
in the Capital Region. Members and their guests can
enjoy the relaxed yet elegant dining atmosphere of the
Club while taking in the beautiful views. The Capital Grille Room is our
exclusive member dining room. Our members can have a private dinner with
their family, or socialize with other members. Our menus are designed by our
award-winning staff and will accommodate any special requests. Members enjoy our comprehensive
lunch and dinner services without any food and beverage minimums.
BANQUETS: We regularly host meetings, luncheons,
private social events, member functions, fundraisers,
weddings and much more. Several rooms are
available that can suit any of your needs. We will
prepare superb cuisine to suit your group and event. Attentive staff will
ensure service to exceed your expectations.
TENNIS: The tennis facilities of the
Albany Country Club are comprised of
six outdoor, Har-tru clay surface courts,
two of which are lighted for night play, a
pro shop, office, restrooms and a covered porch where you can watch all the action.
Two paddle tennis courts are available for use during the cooler months. Our
experienced professionals offer group lessons and clinics for both juniors and adults.
AQUATICS: The swimming pool facilities include the
large main pool, with areas
for lap swimming and
diving, the “kiddie” pool,
the Pool House with
complete locker changing
and restroom facilities, the
