Comprehensive Free Trade Zone.
 January 8, 2014
Starting operation, now all the work is proceeding in an all-round manner
in Zhoushan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone.
 December 31, 2015 The State Council approved the establishment of China (Zhejiang) Bulk
Commodity Trading Center in Zhoushan.

April 19, 2016 the State Council approved the establishment of Zhoushan River and Ocean
Combined Transportation Service Center.

Zhoushan is an important transit port and departure port of “Maritime Silk Road” in ancient
China.
Zhoushan is located at the at the point of intersection between south-north sea transportation
and Yangtze River golden waterway and can be called as fort owing that 6 out of 7
international shipping routes in China passes from here.

• Deepwater coastline suitable for establishment of harbour in the whole area accounts for 1/5 of that in China.
• Capacity of the existing bonded warehouse reaches 12 million cubic meters.
• 6 out of 7 international shipping routes in China passes from Zhoushan waters.
• Direct supplying quantity of bonded fuel oil ranks the second place.
• Ten thousand tons of ships passing in and out of Zhoushan port amount to more than 30 thousand per year.
• Holding orders for marine engineering equipment by shipping and marine engineering enterprises in Zhoushan account for more than
10% of that in China.

Hamburg is an international port city,
whose shipping and maritime services
started early and owns standardized
operation. Many of its practices and
experience is worth our learning, besides,
many of its enterprises have been keeping
a good economic and trade cooperation
with lot of Zhoushan shipbuilding and
repairing enterprises. We believe that if
there is a chance to realize interaction
between Hamburg and Zhoushan
maritime, a stack effect will be sure to be
reached and greater economic energy will
be released.
