COM Mabee Aquatic Center is one of the
most comprehensive aquatic facilities in
the world. The epitome of a self-funded
non-profit corporation, COM offers a
wide variety of programming; from competitive swimming and diving, to parenttot swimming, to senior exercise classes
and everything in between.

Abell-Hanger pool is an indoor pool,
featuring a 16 foot deep diving well,
with 3-, 5-, 7, and 10-meter platforms, and four 1-meter and 3-meter
springboards. The pool can accommodate ten 25-yard lanes when the diving well is not in use. The facility has
two second story seating sections with
seating for 800, and space for 350 athletes on deck, along with men’s and
women’s restrooms. In addition to the
pool, the facility hosts a meet operations room, office space and a multipurpose room.
Mabee Pool is COM’s first pool. This
pool is an eight lane 25-yard pool,
with spectator seating for 250 and a
men’s and women’s locker room. The
pool is home to COM’s two rope
swings.
FMH Foundation Natatorium features
two pools: an Olympic size pool measuring 50 meters by 25 yards, and a
smaller pool with four 25-yard lanes,
and two shallow areas with a zero
depth entry ramp. Our Olympic pool
can accommodate ten 50-meter lanes
or twenty-one 25-yard lanes. The facility can seat 800 spectators, with
space for 800 athletes on deck. There
are 3 sets of restrooms and an athlete
only men’s and women’s locker room.
In addition to pool space, the facility
hosts meeting space, meet operations
room, concession stand and two multipurpose rooms.

Gathercole Pool is adjacent to the
Mabee pool and is used primarily by
our Learn to Swim department. Catering to COM’s youngest swimmers,
the shallow pool hosts three 12.5yard lanes and is kept at 88 degrees.

Pevehouse Pool is the home of our warm
water therapy program. The pool is
maintained at 90 - 92 degrees, and is
four feet deep, with a six foot deep water well hosting underwater treadmills.
The pool has a men’s and women’s locker room, a separate handicap restroom,
zero depth entry ramp, underwater exercise bars and water walking area.
The Beal Family Courtyard is an
8,0000 square foot outdoor area, located in the center of the COM campus, used as an outdoor entertainment
area, including an integrated stage
and outdoor sound system. The courtyard has hosted meet socials, fundraising events, dinners, camp
activities, and award ceremonies. Depending on the set-up, the courtyard
can accommodate several hundred
people.
de-Compiegne-Wallace Pool is a six
feet deep pool and host’s COM’s deep
water aerobics program. The pool
shares locker rooms with the
Pevehouse Pool and is part of the
Aquatic Wellness program at COM.
This pool is also used occasionally as a
warm-up or cool down pool, and as a
training pool for COM mermaids.
Kids Gym is home to COM’s athlete
prep program, catering to children as
young as 6 month. This groundbreaking
program prepares our youngest members to join the COM Dive and Swim
team.

COM Physical Therapy offers the Permian Basin comprehensive physical therapy for post-surgical patients, chronic
pain management, sports injury rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy. COM
Physical Therapy is one of the largest
centers in the area, employing 4
Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapy Assistants with over 80 years of
combined experience.
The Physical Therapy practice shares
space with the COM Wellness Center,
offering free weights, kettle bells,
treadmills, elliptical trainers, various
bikes, and resistance machines.
